About Us

A Tanzania-rooted NGO,
built for this moment

Resilience Aid was founded on a clear conviction: community vulnerability to climate change, disease, and economic exclusion can be systematically reduced. Registered in Dar es Salaam in February 2026, we work with communities, government, and development partners to make that conviction real.

Our Mission
To empower communities with innovative solutions in climate resilience, public health, and sustainable livelihoods.

Vision: Resilient communities thriving in healthy and sustainable environments.

Principles woven through everything we do

Gender Equality & Social Inclusion Women and girls as leaders — not just beneficiaries — in WASH, enterprise, and ecosystem governance.
Youth Empowerment Over 60% of Tanzania's population is under 25. We channel this dividend into green jobs and climate advocacy.
Localisation & Community Ownership Communities as partners in design, implementation, monitoring, and governance — not passive recipients.
Evidence-Based Programming Grounded in 2022 Population Census data and district-level vulnerability assessments for adaptive management.
Innovation & Technology Digital data collection, GIS mapping, solar energy, and circular economy models at the heart of delivery.
Accountability & Transparency Annual external audits, community scorecards, and independent evaluations at Year 3 and Year 5.

"Communities don't need to wait for resilience to arrive. With the right partnerships and the right resources, they are already building it."
